A rhythm game installation that transforms the bus stop experience into a playful and engaging moment in the heart of the city.
WHERE?
Ham Nghi transit station is located in the heart of the bustling city with large spaces and empty surfaces displayed in front of the waiting area.
WHO?
The installation is suitable for a diverse audience from 12 to 45 years old, the average age that usually takes the bus.
WHY?
This installation aims to bring joy to the everyday act of waiting. It encourages the use of public transportation by creating a fun, rhythmic interaction and offering a moment of light exercise and play. Scheduled during Vietnam’s rainy season (May to November), it also doubles as a practical solution: the floor mat helps clean shoes before boarding. Beyond its function, the installation invites people to explore different destinations in the city, turning the bus stop into a point of discovery, movement, and connection.
HOW ?
LED screens display a dynamic bus map accompanied by a catchy beat. As users tap the pressure-sensitive buttons embedded along the waiting row in sync with the rhythm, the map animates—moving the bus along its route, one beat at a time.
